Hello!
Today I pulled an afternoon sickie and did some much needed errand running. Sick days appear to be the only times I'm actually motivated to do this stuff. I am kind of sick also - with some weird rash thing making me itch. I don't think that it's chicken pox, maybe just heat rash...
Today I left work at 1:00pm, waited for the bus for 30 minutes, then travelled on the bus for 30 minutes, then arrived home, changed and left. I first went to Amart Allsports, and then to Rebel Sports (familiar theme??) where I finally made my purchases! I got in line skates and a squash racquet! Lately - as referred to in my previous blog - Sam and I have been having a slightly more active life than we used to. Mondays we run/ride (I ride mostly, and Sam runs) Tuesdays we swim with the posse (Gil, Wayne, Laura, Sam and I plus whoever else we drag to Clem's) Wednesday Gil, Wayne and I are going to play squash together, while Sam plays with Chris and some of his friends. And then we're hoping to go rollerblading on the weekends (or maybe Fridays at Southbank until it gets to winter?!?)
I'm feeling much more energised about life due to this increase in activity... it's great. All of this fitness stuff is coming at a handy time with the big 2-5 just around the corner! Although that weekend is shaping up to be a not-so-good-for-the-fitness-kick one so far. Dacquiris at the Cas anyone? I'm super excited about my party at Strike - can't wait!
We are close to having a State Manager on board now too - which is good news, it's been a bit wishy washy for the past month without the old one around. I'm hoping that the new person will be suitable for the office environment...
Sam and I recently made a joint purchase on some lovely new furniture, which will be delivered in about 5 weeks time, so that's a bit exciting. I'm going to Melbourne in June to visit my Grandma, and to hopefully learn a bit more about her life before it's too late...It's only 3 months until Wayne and Gil's wedding, and Sam and I booked our accommoation yesterday - Helen at the motel is fantastic, my person of the week! We're planning a trip to the snow, either in Queenstown or NSW for August... anyone who's interested in tagging along, let us know as it's super cheap to get an apartment or house happening for a week, and if we have some tentative numbers, we can tell you how much it'll cost.
Another highlight in my life this past month has been ebay! I've sold about $150 dollars worth of useless crap on there - which is great! Something for nothing in my opinion. In fact there's a bloke coming to pick up my old computer desk this afternoon... I was a bit nervous about giving out my number, but what's the worst that can happen? Refer any investigators to my blog (hehe). Seriously though, good, cheap way to flog stuff you don't want/need anymore. I even sold some crappy floating candles I got for Christmas off our junior at work for 50 cents - LOL.
That's all from me for the momento - hope everyone is well and safe, and is looking forward to catching up on the 31st as I am!! xoxo
