Have you ever thought about what would happen if you lost your blog?
I have previously, and then again just now - I would be crushed... it would break my heart to loose all of my thoughts and feelings of the past (almost) two years. There have been good times, bad times, funny times and fun times. There have been changes of jobs, houses and suburbs, and I have to say that I have definately cherished each of my entries.
Once again it is a time for change, with house hunting becoming a more important aspect of my life, and having settled into my role at the Institute, I'm looking for expansion in my work world too. I've started studing a Certificate III in Meetings and Events, I'm sure I've told everyone who'd listen about it - and I have to say that so far, it's fairly straight forward. It's a bit tough not having student peers around to bounce information off, but with my events experience, limited though it may be, I'm finding it fairly easy, but it is taking me ages to complete my first submissions because there is so much research involved due to the non-classroom atmosphere.
Although my thoughts these days are few and far between (an indication of how busy at work I am usually), I do value these brief and thoughtful moments when I try to dig up any interesting and preferably entertaining moments in my life with which to share with you.
As a final note in today's blog, I have to say that I was fairly surprised that Memoirs of a Geisha (the book in this case) was fiction... it seemed so factual and heartfelt. I was a little bit pissed off in the end, because there was a note from a "translator" and everything at the start. You may think - geez she's gullible, but if you read it, you'd probably get the same feeling - exept that I've ruined it now!!
Love you all, thanks to my loyal fans and readers (LOL).
